In late 2020, ECS acquired the Granada Hotel via a State of California Project HomeKey funding award of nearly $45 million to ECS and the City of San Francisco. The Granada, currently under renovation, is a 214-unit permanent housing site for formerly homeless seniors, veterans, and other adults. The nine-story, former hotel and senior residence provides single and double-occupancy units. The building also features a large lobby/community area, kitchen, and finished basement for staff offices. Granada residents receive support from ECS’s dedicated team of case managers and clinicians to retain their housing while building community and pursuing increasingly healthy and independent lives.
