Central Waterfront Navigation Center (600 25th St.)

ECS is the lead agency at the City's newest Central Waterfront Navigation Center (CWNC) in the Dogpatch neighborhood, in partnership with Providence Foundation of San Francisco. The CWNC provides short-term stays and low-threshold programming for up to 64 homeless single adults and couples. This one-stop center's harm reduction-based, intensive services are designed to lead to housing, treatment, and other exits from homelessness. Referrals will be determined by the City's Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH), and length of stay will depend on each guest's exit plan, e.g. securing a housing unit, treatment bed, or shelter bed. As with our Mission district Navigation Center, the CWNC will offer guests the ability to stay with their 3 "P's": partners, pets, and possessions, reducing perceived barriers that may have kept individuals from seeking services or shelter in the past.
