Episcopal Community Services partners with local corporate groups and together we work to enrich the lives of clients living in our 11 housing sites. Corporate volunteers develop teamwork experience and build group morale while lending a helping hand to neighbors in need. There are a variety of ways your office can get involved:

We have ongoing and one-time volunteer projects available for both small and larger corporate groups. We can accommodate up to groups of 50 volunteers but please begin arrangements at least one month ahead. Depending on the number of volunteers, potential projects include painting in our shelters and housing sites, building raised garden beds, playing bingo with seniors and more. Contact volunteer coordinator, Mallory Hasick, at mhasick@ecs-sf.org or (415) 487-3348 to find a project to match your company’s interest.

Personal Hygiene Drives
Our emergency shelters are always in need of socks, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and other toiletries. Host a drive in your office for one or all of these items.

Sponsorship
Event sponsorship is an excellent way to enhance your company's visibility in the community. Annual event sponsorship opportunities include SummerTini and our new fundraising luncheon scheduled for February 2011. ECS offers various levels of sponsor recognition including recognition in e-newsletters, website, signage, annual report and more.

Invite Us To Speak
Have a speaker from Episcopal Community Services visit your office to talk about our efforts to address the needs of the homelessness in San Francisco. We’d value the opportunity to get to know your office better.
